Spellbound Melodies
Part I: Pain and Death
Among the black sky and dark clouds, bellowed thunder and bright violet-lightning ripping across the heavens. The rain was heavy, then sometimes light, giving way to the beautiful cadence of raindrops tapping against the trees, the soil, and roofs of cottages. It was nighttime but just a few hours before early morning. Strong and gentle winds pushed and flowed over the plants and things amid the earth. Through the groaning trees, and the whispering grass, and among a rather large and flourishing village. There was no movement within the dirt and streets, the candles within homes were blown out, and windows were closed
