So Ill be gone in about 2 months. And doing lot's of running.    

Very sincere apologies for the sudden news about all of the this. I truly care about being a artist and DeviantArt, and especially my dear Watchers because you guys are probably the only ones that ever look at my art. <3 (;u Thank you btw if you really go out of your way to see if I have new submission, I very much appreciate you <3 I have meant to give this news much earlier, but I have been busy with many other things and social stuff.   

But when I come back, which will be most likely the end of December or February, Ill MAKE SURE to draw something extra special for you. Promise! Pinky promise! <3 Cross my heart and hope to die <3  

Again...Thank you.  Take it easy while the weather gets colder and the schoolwork or work in general gets harder.  

So I got a few problems...just a little...okay maybe its not that little.

Okay! Its my last year of highschool. Oooooh boi. And I got alot of things to do in school. Ten classes.
A lot of things (>.>) To many things (@.@) I was even accepted into a AP art class and lemme tell ya, its  S U P E R  O F F I C I A L.  The scary kind of class that you think about going to all day because your excited then when you go to it your scared, and your like, "No. Lemme out. Right neow." But I also love it very much, because that class is very open-minded and really lets you draw or paint or make whatever you want to make.

For the AP ART class, we are doing something that's called:  T H E   C O N C E N T R A T I O N
Oh yeah...like I said. Super Official :bademoticon:  Within the concentration, I have to come up with a theme that I want to concentrate on/or sort like investigate by drawing, painting, or creating 12 art pieces for it. Its a real good skill shapener for me, because I want to study body and environment perspective. So my theme is ACTION. I will be drawing 12 art pieces of people within places, that will be doing something that falls under the category ACTION. For example, on piece could be a Detective and Criminal having a standoff in a alley of a City. (<- Will actually be an art piece)

But Im not worried too much, because all the other classmate/artists in that class are really nice Plus, I already got my first concentration drawing down already. I just gotta add color and POW! finished. So yea.  I WILL be sharing these art pieces with you soon  None worry. 
I will keep going with drawing and sharing my art because....well ART. I love art, and its a piece of the talent I was born with.  

Thats all. This is an explanation why I haven't submitted art for so long and why I haven't done anything. Hehe. 

Hey! This is Crista Mendoza and I have a lot of things to say.

1.) Every time I go on DeviantArt I see all these artists and then I look at myself and I feel like a little newb, a little teeny tiny baby artist, :bademoticon: (Newb is a term for newby, basically made by M.M.O. gamers) seriously. To be specific, I have alllllll these plans and all these ideas for art that are crammed in the infinite space of my tiny cranium.

2.)  I can't take any requests for drawing. Sorry. Because right now, I'm just trying to practice so I can hone my skills and get better eventually. It takes time and patience, but eventually someday I hope I can take requests. I heard that artist call that sort of thing called Commisions, wonderful idea that is. So yeah! Hopefully I will be able to do commissions in the future, I would absolutely be happy to.  

3.) Education is important, and if I want to have a successful future and have a bit more freedom, then I need to pass Highschool and burst out the doors with flying colors and smelling fresh as a rose.  Ya'know, with the black robes, square hat thingy, and a big'ole framed piece of paper declaring that I passed. So I'm not saying I wont be on here, but once I manage my time again after I find what classes I have for SM2 then I can get back to drawing.

4.) Lately, I have been practicing on my art.  To be specific, I want to get more comfortable in drawing the entire body of a person/character/thing/creature that I want to draw, and that's means I need to practice body positions, structures, and shtuff.I will stick with my own type of style and not try to change it to match another artists, because that what makes me as an artist special:> I have also been making/drawing some really cool things, so yeah, soon I will share them. I'm not too worried and not thinking about the body structures a lot, I'm just focusing that those few things because I know they will be important to what I really want to accomplish in the future.

5.) I have also been practicing in drawing perspective. Like how to draw buildings, or environments, and places. I'm learning how and practicing, and then I'm going to start adding people and things so everything wont look so jumbled up and uneven anymore whenever I want to draw.   
For an example, I would like to draw a assassin about to strike their first victim (body creation, face expression) , and the deed is going to be dealt in the middle of a city (perspective), and there is a guard or police in the background yelling "SHTOP!":>(perspective and character)
I'm super confident that the whole process will be fun, maybe a little frustrating, but it will be beneficial to what I want to accomplish in the future. :bademoticon:
